With its upcoming Ghost Brothers, Destination America is featuring what it calls the first African American paranormal investigation team to star in a TV series.

Produced by Pilgrim Media Group, also the team behind the long-running Syfy hit Ghost Hunters, and in association with Crybaby Media, Ghost Brothers features best friends Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey, who investigate numerous houses and locales believed by some to be haunted.

When they're not investigating the paranormal, Spratt and Mass run a fashion design label, Loren Spratt, and Harvey is a comedian and founder of luxury grooming service Barberstar.

The six-episode series will premiere on Destination America on April 15.

"Destination America is the leader in paranormal programming, and we are excited to bring diversity to this space with the very first African American ghost hunting team on television," said Jane Latman, general manager of Destination America (DA).

Henry S. Schleiff, group president of Investigation Discovery, American Heroes Channel and Destination America, added: "At DA, we make a concerted effort to create programming that reflects the diversity of all Americans, everywhere, and are excited to have Dalen, Juwan and Marcus join our family."
