S Africa Attractive Destination for Business in Sub-Saharan Africa

12 de mayo de 2016, 11:39Pretoria, May 12 (Prensa Latina) South Africa is today the most attractive destination for businesses in sub-Saharan Africa, despite its recent economic slowdown, according to a report.

The Ernst & Young audit firm also showed in its report that two thirds of the sub-Saharan African economies continue to grow at higher rates than the world average.

The continent remains the second fastest growing region in the world for the foreseeable future.

It was also reported that Egypt has replaced South Africa as the second largest economy in Africa.

The report on the world economy by the International Monetary Fund blamed the weakening of the local currency (rand) for the demotion, SABC news channel said.
