Hailing from South Africa, Dr Karla has worked in some of the countries busiest emergency and trauma departments as well as various outpatient clinics, treating a wide range of conditions and ailments. She also obtained invaluable pediatric experience working in a well-respected pediatric unit (including NICU duties). Moving to Dubai in 2012, she initially worked in a busy, well-known emergency room before moving to a polyclinic, where she could focus on her passion: preventative and family medicine. She also has an interest in Dermatology and Pediatrics.

Educational Qualifications– MBChB 2008 from Stellenbosch University
